Anthony Thevenet was raised near his grandfather’s vineyards. From a young age dreamed of making his own wines. When his grandfather passed away, he inherited his vineyards.
Anthony worked with Georges Descombes for seven years. He also worked for Jean Foillard. He learned from them the ins and outs of natural vinification and the importance of working properly in the vineyard.
In 2012, Anthony took over his grandfather’s 2.11 hectares in Morgon — one of the parcels contains 100-year-old Gamay vines. In November 2014, he added a hectare of vines in Côte du Py.
