Colline Lucchesi Rosso 2011

Primarily Sangiovese, from vines Giuseppe planted from Selection Massale cuttings of Sangiovese in 2000, with a little help from a chorus of Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo and Colorino, and long maceration on the skins. It’s aged for three years in large 1000 liter casks oak barrels, and then for two years in bottle. It’s perfect companion to a Tuscan-inspired stew.
