Macon-Villages 2012

From twenty-year-old vines planted in vineyards in La Salle (clay-limestone) and Chaintré (silty clay), the wine is aged on its fine lees and raised in stainless steel and old barrels.

In short, in our humble opinion, this may be the best Macon-Villages we’ve tasted. It has freshness, minerality, and just the right amount of weight on the palette.
