This is a gorgeous wine replete with pristine acidity and a kind of golden, honeycrisp apple element illuminating the mid-palate. Refreshing as ever from Gregoire Perron who tends 2.5 hectares of vines in Journans, Bugey, France.
Vinification: A blend of 80% Chasselas and Jacquère hand-harvested from vineyard sites around Leman Lake and Les Abymes, respectively. The grapes are pressed and co-ferment before a short élevage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12% ABV
