About the wine

This is a light, lower-ABV, chuggable red made in a nouveau style (though given about 6-months rest in bottle before being released) from the Brand Brothers who are working in Germany's Pfalz wine region. The wine is a blend of 85% Portugieser and 15% Cabernet Franc hand-harvested from a combination of young (~20 years) and old vines (~80 years) grown in limestone soils. The grapes are carbonically macerated in stainless steel tank before being bottled early in a nouveau style though the wine is allowed to rest for 6 months in bottle thereafter. Unfined, unfiltered, no SO2. 10%ABV
