50% Touriga Nacional & 50% Viognier from Texas Hill Country

Some info on this cuvée from Southold's site:

"While on the face, this looks like a thinly veiled attempt at rosé, do know it is not. The cooler and wetter 2019 vintage threw a lot of hurdles at the Robert Clay Vineyard, and this about as good of an example as any of Aristotle’s “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”  Starting off with notes of smokey plum and cedar of the skin fermented Viognier, it quickly begins to show off it’s violet perfume that we’ve come to love in Touriga Nacional. This wine will continue to age, so we do suggest giving it some time."
