Elizabeth Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

This is real-deal upstate NY Pinot, foot crushed, whole-cluster, stems and all, and then put into one-ton bins to ferment. It goes into old French oak to finish fermentation, and then is racked off its lees and gravity-bottled by hand without fining or filtration.

Andrew recommends decanting this wine and serving it with beef. It is a mouthful reflecting a warm, dry growing season–ripe, dense, with ample cherry fruit and firm tannins.
