About the wine
100% Riesling hand-harvested from granitic, sandy, and stony soils at three different sites: Lanzenberg, Frankstein (a Grand Cru site), and Breitstein. The grapes are, without crushing, slowly pneumatically pressed. Spontaneous fermentation takes place over the course of 8-10 months in old neutral oak casks. Unfined, unfiltered, little to no SO2 added. 12.5%ABV
