Thirst Wine Share

 

Is my wine share ready for pickup?

If you signed up after the 10th, which is our cutoff, your share will go out later the same month, typically around the 3rd week. We always send out emails once the shares are ready for pickup or shipping, so keep an eye out!

 

I would like to update my address/credit card for my wine share. How do I do that?

Simply login to your Thirst account online to update your info, or email us at hello@thirstmerchants.com and we’ll take care of it.


I chose in-store pickup for my wine share, but can I request local delivery instead?

You sure can! Simply purchase the $9 delivery fee here, and we’ll send your share via a local courier. Please note: the courier will likely call when outside, and an adult must be available to sign for the package.


I will be traveling for a while. Can I pause my wine share?

Absolutely! We can put your Share on hold for up to 3 months. Just email us and we’ll take care of it, or log into your account and click on Manage.


Do I need to fill out a questionnaire?

Nope! We’ve simplified the Wine Share. Each shipment now features the four wines we’re most excited about. No forms or palate profiles - just bottles we love and want to share with you.


Can I request specific types of wines?

Not within the Wine Share - we curate each box based on what excites us most. Every shipment is a balanced mix of natural, small-production wines. If you’re craving something particular, you can always shop our bottle selection separately.


Shipping

What states do you ship to? 
We ship to all states in the continental United States except for the following:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Michigan
  • Mississippi
  • Oklahoma
  • South Dakota
  • Utah
  • Vermont
Sorry, we wish we could ship everywhere, but these archaic laws don't make it easy! 

Should I ship to my work or home?
We strongly recommend you ship to your work/office. Someone over the age of 21 with a valid ID must sign for the package, and packages cannot be left on stoops or at doorways due to the laws surrounding alcohol in the United States.

How do you ship your products?
Flat Rate $19 via a common carrier like Fedex, UPS.

Must I be home to receive my order?
Yes! As per alcohol laws, someone over the age of 21 must sign for the package. UPS/FedEx will not receive packages on doorways/stoops. As such, we highly recommend you get the order shipped to a commercial address, if possible. 

Can I get my order shipped to a P.O.Box? 
Nope, sorry! With alcohol deliveries, someone 21 years old or older with a valid ID must sign for the package or UPS/FedEx will not deliver it. 

Can I track my package?
Absolutely. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive a shipping notification email and a tracking number.


Can I change the delivery address of my order when the package is in enroute? 
If the updated address is within the same state, you may be able to make changes (no guarantees though!), but if you would like to change the address to a different state, this is not possible unfortunately. Let us know right away if you want an updated address by emailing us at hello@thirstmerchants.com. Note, an address change fee will apply. 
What if my product is damaged?
That's a bummer! Contact us at hello@thirstmerchants.com and we will be happy to help.

Can I return products I don't like? 
If the product is unopened we would be glad to accept returns. Please note, there is a $15 restocking fee to cover the charge of having the item returned back to us. This will be deducted from the order total when issuing a refund, once the product has been received by us in the condition it was sent.

Can you help me curate a case? Half a case? 
We'd be more than happy to! Just email us (hello@thirstmerchants.com) with how many bottles you would like, what type of wine you would like (e.g. reds, whites, sparkling, orange, etc.), what your total budget is, and we'll get right on it! We offer 5% off half a case of wine (6 bottles) and 10% a case (12 bottles). 

Can I place a bulk order of one particular product? 
If you would like to purchase several bottles (e.g. 6 or more) of a particular wine/spirit, please email us at hello@thirstmerchants.com.  Because a lot of our inventory is rare/limited production, we will need to look into whether this is logistically possible. 

 

Can I place my order via phone?
