The Details

100% Syrah from the Les Mortars vineyard, planted on granite soils. 100% destemmed. Natural yeast fermentation in fiberglass tanks, then transferred to six-year-old barrels for six months. Soft and lean in style, this is nevertheless a warming, autumnal Syrah, courting you with svelt black fruit and brambly tannins. Slight rosemary and thyme on the finish, with just enough acidity to encourage a quick next sip.
