About the wine
Ghemme, Alto-Piemonte from mainly 60-100 year old vines. More specifically "Guido" is produced from a series of ancient trellis systems some of the bush vines may be up to 130 years of age.
Old-Vine "Maggiorina" field-blend of native Alto-Piemontese varieties all co-fermented. Merlot, croatina, barbera, uva rara, nebbiolo, vespolina and erbaluce. Concrete for spontaneous fermentation and aging. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 13.5%ABV
