Intensely expressive of its black volcanic terroir, this wine is a blend of Olaszrizling, Furmint, and Juhfark. (The name is a reference to the fact that Jacz pulled out the Olaszrizling after this vintage, so this is the last iteration of the wine.) Grapes are cofermented with 90 days on the skins, aged in Hungarian oak. A tannic orange wine, with canteloupe, blood orange and kaffir lime on the palate and a grandpa-sweater nose. We suggest decanting the wine and then enjoying like a red, with hearty stew.
