100% Groppello. Wild yeast ferment, aged for four months in old barrel and concrete, with no fining or filtration, minimal SO2 at bottling. A meaty but pretty wine, with aromas of strawberry, withered roses and ginseng. On the palate, the fruit is more tart raspberry, but with a full body and ample acidity. The finish is persistent, one that will compliment roasted meat and seasoned, peppery cheeses.
