Co-ferment of 50 year-old vines of ancient clones of Merlot, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera, and Canaiolo. Whole-bunch spontaneous fermentation. 1 year élevage in neutral oak prior to being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12%ABV
