The Details

From Perugia in Umbria this is Marco Merli's entry level bianco composed of Vermentino, Grechetto, Malvasia, & Trebbiano. Grapes are hand-harvested and see a short maceration prior to pressing (to give a touch more texture to the wine; it is a white, stylistically, not orange), spontaneous fermentation and aging in neutral vessel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12.5%ABV
