About the wine
100% Mencia from 80-100 year-old vines. Fermented with indigenous yeast and rested in neutral oak barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with zero SO2. The nose packs a punch, at once dark cherry, forest musk, violets and black licorice. The palate has a broad body, with dense black fruit, but that unmistakable Mencia acidity that leaves your palate dramatically fresh. Enjoy this with Jersey meatloaf, or anything with miso.
