The Details
Expert, tiny-production Red Vermouth from Piemonte. Base material is primarily organically farmed, old-vine Barbera fruit. From the importer, Nomadic:
Red Vermut are made with our wines only, in cooperation with Gualco, a famous, niche distillery quite close to us. They are characterized by a long -around 2 months- cold maceration in wine and ethyl alcohol: glass demijohns host a complex mix of more than 20 botanicals, including wormwood, yarrow, juniper berries, angelica seeds, rhubarb, gentian roots, citrus zests, hybiscus and orange flowers. No flavours or colouring and preservatives, no other additives apart from as less as possible sugar to balance botanical bitterness.
