The Details
From the 16th century estate in Saulheim - the heart of the Rheinhessen - this is Weingut Thorle's "entry" Riesling that still comes from some of their finest fruit. Grapes are hand-harvested, directly pressed and spontaneously fermented in steel (85%) & stuckfasse for four months prior to élevage of 6-9 months. Bottled unfined, coarsely filtered, minimal added SO2. 12%ABV
