Collection: Fond Cypres

In 1998, Laetitia Ourliac and Rodolphe Gianesini found a largely forgotten vineyard of 18 acres in Escales, near Lézignan in the appellation of Corbières. The couple took six years to fully rejuvenate the vines and establish firm organic principles. Since then, they have been making brilliant, dense and emotional wines: Carignan, Syrah and Grenache for their reds, with Chardonnay, Roussanne and Viognier for whites. Their farming remains impeccable, with natural yeasts and minimal intervention in the cellar. The estate range for 2017 has no added sulfur and the Cypres de Toi range - made from certified organic fruit purchased from their neighbors - has a small amount only at bottling.
