This is a tart, spritzy rosé with singing acid that simply bursts with underripe plums and raspberries from Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani of Lammidia who tend a small estate in eastern Italy's Abruzzo.
Vinification: A blend of Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, and Malvasia hand-harvested from 25 year-old vines grown in clay and limestone soils. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation (ambient yeasts; no temp. control) in stainless steel before an extended aging also in tank before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no additional SO2. 10.5%ABV
