The Details
100% Merlot from 30 year old vines, grown on clay and limestone. Grapes are pressed and ferment spontaneously in fiberglass. Only a short maceration to give the wine its light appearance and graceful mouthfeel, bottled unfined and unfiltered with a small amount of SO2 at bottling. A funkadelic Merlot, with roasted plum and mushroom on the nose and a savory palate wrapped with the bright acidity and unctuous texture of balsamic vinegar.
