The Details

From Cirò in Calabria, this is 92% Gaglioppo, 8% Magliocco from organically farmed vines located between Sant'Anastasia, Muzzunetto, and Fego, a combination of hillside and seaside vineyards ranging in elevation from 0-100m elevation above sea-level. Grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously co-ferment/macerate for 36 hours prior to pressing to stainless steel tank for 2 years' élevage. Bottled unfined, coarsely filtered, minimal (<35ppm) added SO2.
