About the wine
100% Sangiovese from 24 year-old vines planted in the clay/sandy/limestone soils of Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna. Grapes are hand-harvested and macerate for 30-35 days and spontaneously ferment prior to pressing and élevage in tonneau for 15 months and then another 2 years in bottle prior to release. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12%ABV
