Barrell Rye Private Release 1M20 is a distinctive expression from Barrell Craft Spirits’ Private Release series. This unique whiskey is a blend of straight rye whiskeys sourced from Indiana and Canada, finished in a Madeira barrel, imparting complex and intriguing flavors. 

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Aromas of green apples, rich dark caramel, and herbal rye spice, with hints of brown sugar and honey. 

• Palate: Bold and spicy, featuring burnt brown sugar and floral potpourri, with a light-bodied yet dense texture. 

• Finish: Starts sweet before transitioning to a completely dry finish, maintaining spicy floral notes and an extended warmth. 

Bottled at 57.53% ABV (115.06 proof), this cask-strength rye offers a bold yet refined experience, showcasing the intricate interplay between the base whiskey and the Madeira cask finish. It’s a testament to Barrell Craft Spirits’ dedication to innovative blending and finishing techniques.
