Macabeo & Xarel-lo sourced from Catalonia. Direct press Macabeo, 5-day maceration Xarel.lo. Fiberglass for spontaneous fermentation followed by bottling a la ancestral method unfined, unifltered, undisgorged, no additional SO2.

Forgive the name-dropping, but we need to mention the circle of family, friends and mentors for Belly Wine Experiment: 

Aurelian Lefort, Manu Duveau (Yahou Fatal), Adrien Sage (natural wine importer) and the star of the show, Gamay d'Auvergne. 

We're proud to support the introduction of these young experimental winemakers to the US. The wines are certainly experimental. BUT, we took our small allocation to get in on the ground floor and begin tracking what is sure to be an exceptional winemaking journey.
