The Details

From the birthplace of Nebbiolo way up in the Italian Alps, a 10 minute drive from Switzerland, in the ancient Val Ossolane, this is a gorgeous alpine red composed of Prünent (aka Nebbiol) and Croatina from 40 different growers across 4 villages in the valley. Grapes are hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented / macerate for 8-10 days in stainless steel prior to pressing and aging also in stainless steel for 12 months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2.
