The Details
This is a bright white blend from Maria Gioia Rosellini of Ca'Orologio who works 11 hectares of vines in the volcanic Euganean Hills of Baone, which is located in the northern Italian region, The Veneto.
Tasting Notes: A nose full of pome fruit pulp and underripe nectarines, this is a sunny wine that carries lively fruit along its spine of easing acidity.
Vinification: Moscato 70%, Pinot Bianco 30%. The grapes are de-stemmed, then macerated for about 60 hours, then pressed gently. The must ferments spontaneously without added yeasts, and takes place partly in steel and partly in barrique.
