The Details

The original red produced by the domaine from the tuffeau terroir of Parnay's 'La Côte' along the Loire River. From 3 parcels in Parnay and 1 in Turquant, the grapes are hand-harvested and naturally macerate pre-ferment. Spontaneous fermentation occurs over 4 weeks in 38HL foudres. Élevage is 18 months total with 12 in a combination of  80% neutral oak and 20% new oak barrels. Bottled unfinedm, unfiltered, minimal added SO2. 13%ABV
