The Details
A one-off collaboration from Igor Corral & Clos Massotte. The grapes are biodynamically cultivated in Trouillas in the Roussillon. Vines are 130+ year-old bush vines with supremely low yields. Grenache Noir + Gris from a .9 hectare vineyard. Grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously co-ferment/macerate. The Grenache Noir is destemmed prior to fermentation; the grenache gris is left whole-cluster. After 14 days, the wine is pressed to old neutral barrel and blended with a small proportion of Cinsault. 11 month élevage prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 13.6% ABV
