The top wine of the family, this is aged in neutral barrel and yields extraordinary elegance, while still retaining distinctive rusticity. A nose rich with earth, withered flowers and an animality evoking its Roman ancestry. The palate is rich, and the time left to rest the wine has done all the work to yield its most supple facets, culminating in a creamy end.
