The Details

From biodynamically cultivated vines in Montpeyroux in the Languedoc, this is 40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 10% Carignan, 5% Syrah, 5% Alicante Bouschet. Vines are 20 years-old on average and planted to fairly pure limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and macerate/spontaneously ferment in stainless steel vat for 10-15 days prior to pressing. Aged half/half for 6 months overall in stainless steel vat / neutral foudre. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (<15ppm) added SO2.
