About the wine
From the Southern Rhône merely 12 km from Avignon in Châteauneuf de Gadagne, this is 100% biodynamically cultivated Cinsault from 40+ year-old vines cultivated in the Galets Roulés soils just outside the village. Grapes are hand-harvested and spotaneously ferment in cement tank with a short maceration prior to pressing. Maturation is for 6 months, 20% of the wine's volume is aged in neutral demi-muid whereas 80% sees concrete vat. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
