The Details
100% Pinot Noir from biodynamically cultivated vines in Sampigny-les-Maranges. Grapes are ~50 years-old planted to Jurassic limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested, whole-cluster food-crushed and macerate in large vats with pumpovers for 14 days. Wien is aged for 10 months in neutral barrel and racked once before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (to none depending on vintage) added SO2. 12.5% ABV
