The Details
From Remich along the upper corridor of the Moselle Valley in Luxembourg, this is Cabernet Blanc, a rare (and the first!) hybrid variety to be planted in Luxembourg. The grape is the result of a complex crossbredding of Cab Sauv / Silvaner / Riesling & a grape called Chancellor. The vineyards are 15 years-old and are biodynamically treated (via drone!). Grapes are hand-harvested, directly pressed and spontaneously ferment and age for 10 months sur lie in stainless steel before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, low to no additional SO2.
