100% Tinto Velasco, from 150-year-old vines planted on sandy soil with clay and limestone, vinified with a long maceration and aged in old barrique for 14 months. Zero additions, no fining or filtration. The nose might lead you to Emilia-Romagna, with its balsamic and prosciutto di Parma notes, but the lingering aromas of spice and rich red cherry are distinctly Toledo. The palate is equally stuck between worlds, at once pleasantly savory and a velvet glove of ripe red fruit.
