The Details

35+ year-old biodynamically cultivated Gamay from the western part of the Loire near the village of Berrie. Grapes are hand-harvested from vines planted to sandy soils and whole-cluster macerate for about a week before pressing in an old basket press and an élevage of 12 months in neutral barrel thereafter. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
