The Details

100% Loureiro from (now!) organically cultivated vines aging 15-20 years-old in the northwest of Portugal. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and macerate for 36 hours prior to pressing and spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tank. The wine is then aged in a combination of stainless steel tank, chestnut barrels, and tinaja. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2.
