The Details

Biodynamically cultivated grower champagne from Gaston Collard. This is "Dosage Zero" composed of 90% Pinot Noir, & 10% Chardonnay. This breakdown follows and is blended with 20% perpetual reserve wine ergo it's "Non-Vintage" status. Base vintage is 2020 harvest. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2 in 2021. 12.5%ABV

Started in 1937, Champagne Gaston Collard once upon a time were just grape-growers and sellers prior to properly bottling their own champagne with the 1982 vintage. The domaine is now run by Cyril Collard who has the distinction of being a mentee, and neighbor, of the great Benoît Lahaye.
