The Details
This is a bold and playful sparkler from Carolina Gatti who works five hectares of spur-pruned vines in the Veneto (northeastern Italy).
Tasting Notes: Golden-hued in the glass with a really fun and consistent bubble, this pet-nat is clean and dry with addictive depth: mineral meets melon and tropical fruit is squeezed over stone. A truly memorable and fun fizzer.
Vinification: Glera (Prosecco grape), Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Tocai, Verduzzo, co-fermented, macerated on the skins (for a few days), and then aged on the lees in bottle for 10 months. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal to no SO2.
