The Details
This is a complex dynamo of a red wine from Grégory Guillaume who works three hectares of vines in the south of France.
Tasting Notes: The intense brackish aromatics of sea-salted plums and blackcurrants adorn the cedar-like backbone of this wine whose delicacy in the palate brags with how easy it is to fall in love once you're under its spell.
Vinification: Whole-bunches of Merlot and Syrah co-ferment for a month before pressing into barrel. From a parcel of forty year old vines in Alba-la-Romaine (Ardèche).
