The Details

From the heart of the Veneto, in the hills of the Vallata di Mezzane within the eastern corridor of Valpolicella, this is biodynamically cultivated Corvina/Corvinone/Molinara/Rondinella/Oseleta from old vines planted to fairly pure limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested, traditionally vinified (spontaneous fermentation, several weeks' maceration all in stainless steel) prior to pressing and aging in steel as well. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
