James Erskine's Archie Shiraz comes from a biodynamic vineyard in the McLaren Vale and is a breath of blackberry fresh air: the fruit is lithe and salty, with a brambly herbal side underneath. Eucalyptus and kaffir lime at the finish give you an Aussie kiss goodbye. No oak, no fining or filtration, no SO2.
