"The black stones," this is from a single parcel of 80-100 year-old vines in Rioum planted to volcanic/basalt-rich soils. 90% Gamay, 10% Noirfleurien (an ancient, rare variety of the Auvergne), grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and undergo semi-carbonic maceration in old barrel before aging for 6-9 months in the same vessel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12% ABV
