This is a bright and complex red from Jordy Kay who works in the Goulburn Valley of Central Victoria, Australia.
Tasting Notes: A slightly savory and big rosé, one that still carries some stone fruit and slightly citric brightness. A pure and plump delight.
Vinification: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes hand-harvested from 50 year-old vines at nearly 500 feet elevation atop alluvium sand soils. After a short maceration and fermentation, the juice is bottled as a pitch-perfect extraction of Cab. Sauv. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
