The Details
100% Grenache from Baja California, Mexico! Sourced from 40 year old vines, aged in neutral barrels, bottled unfined, unfiltered and entirely without sulfur (allegedly because
winemaker Humberto ‘Tito’ Toscano is allergic!) This incredible estate, managed by Tito and featuring 120+ year old vines, is some of the oldest winemaking history in North America, untainted by chemicals or industrial farming. Tito makes honest wine, never with anything other than natural yeasts and the power of his terroir.
La Casa Vieja is a member of the Borderless wine Alliance. Borderless Wine Alliance: Borderless Wine™ is a movement where wine buying is viewed as a form of activism and was created by writer and former sommelier Peter Weltman.
