This is a light and spicy delight of a red from one of our absolute favorite producers, La Grange aux Belles whose vines cover nine hectares in the Loire Valley's Anjou.
Tasting Notes: Bright and vivid as a crisp and clear winter morning - brings to mind the best of underripe stone fruit and its accompanying florality. An iconic cuvee from an iconic maker.
Vinification: A blend of Cab Franc, Cab Sauv, and Grolleau hand-harvested from 40 year-old vines grown in sandy loam and shale soils. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation/carbonic maceration with only the help of native yeasts and the deprivation of O2. Unfined, unfiltered, with a touch of SO2 at bottling. 12.5%ABV
