The Details
100% Godello from Nacho Gonzalez who works with super old, low-yielding vines planted in granitic/clay soils in Galicia's Valdeooras at 500m elevation. The grapes are destemmed prior to a 1-week maceration in 400L tinajas. Thereafter the juice is pressed into a combination of 400L tinajas, old chestnut & French oak barrels where the wine rests for 4 months. The finished wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
