From a new, very exciting producer in the forgotten Creuse - a department at the edge of the Volcanic Loire and the Auvergne -- a totally unique combination of Gamay from Saint Pourçain & Gamaret. Grapes are hand-harvested, macerate for 3 weeks prior to a 36 hour pressing. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel before aging for 13 months in neutral barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
