The Details
100% Erbaluce from Boca in Alto (alto-alto!) Piemonte, whose vines are cultivated according to the ancient maggiorina training system (3-vines trained together according to 4 cardinal directions - very cool, rare, and difficult!). Grapes are hand-harvested and 90% are whole-bunch directly pressed in a vertical press. 10% macerate for 100 days. Spontaneous fermentation in 1600L acacia, neutral oak barrels, and cement tanks. Wines are blended and rested in neutral vessel for up to 10 months prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, minimal (vintage dependent, 2023 <30 ppm) added SO2. 13% ABV
