Pure, Pure, Pure Ethereal, Light Red Burgundy.

100% Pinot Noir from 50-60 year-old vines planted in the clay/limestone soils southwesterly exposed in the Clos des Godeaux of Savigny-les-Beaune. The grapes are 100% destemmed and short macerated prior to pressing with gentle daily pump-overs and 2 foot punch-downs at the end of spontaneous fermentation. Neutral oak élevage for ~10 months prior to being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2. 12.5%ABV

About Burgundy

The Burgundy wine region, nestled in the heart of eastern France, is an enchanting tapestry of vine-covered hills, historic villages, and unparalleled terroir. Revered as the holy grail of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Burgundy's wines are celebrated for their purity, finesse, and capacity to express the essence of individual vineyard plots. The region's famed Côte d'Or, divided into the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, is home to some of the world's most coveted vineyards, each named meticulously on its own. From the robust, age-worthy reds of Gevrey-Chambertin to the ethereal and elegant whites of Meursault, Burgundy's terroir-driven wines are a testament to the region's dedication to tradition and meticulous winemaking. Here, winemakers carefully honor centuries-old practices while allowing the land to tell its unique story in each bottle, making Burgundy an enduring and magical destination for wine enthusiasts seeking transcendental experiences in the glass.
